Terms of Use.
These are the terms between you and GDP Works Ltd (SC845336, City Point 3rd Floor, 65 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD) when you use Huso. Using the app means you accept them. They're short on purpose — read them.
What Huso is
Huso schedules and publishes Instagram posts, Reels, and Stories that you approve, via Meta's official API. It also drafts captions with AI when you ask it to. That's the service — no more is promised.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 (or older where your local law requires), have an Instagram Professional account for publishing, and have the authority to post to any account you connect. Connecting an account you don't control is a breach of these terms.
Your content
Your photos, captions, and drafts stay yours. You give us only the licence we need to run the service: storing your content, showing it to your team, and transmitting it to Meta when a post you've approved publishes. We don't use your content for anything else, including training AI. You're responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
Publishing, honestly
Nothing publishes without your approval. But once approved, publishing depends on Instagram: Meta's API can reject media, rate-limit accounts, or be unavailable. When a post fails we tell you and keep it safe to retry — that's our promise. We can't guarantee Instagram will accept every post at the exact scheduled minute, and we're not liable for what a delay or failure costs you.
AI captions
AI-drafted captions are suggestions. Review them before you approve — you publish them as your own words, and you're responsible for them being accurate and lawful.
Teams
Account owners choose who joins and what they can do; everything a member adds or approves is attributed to them and visible to the team. The owner is responsible for their team's use of the connected Instagram account. Removing a member revokes their access but keeps the work history intact.
Fair use
Don't use Huso to spam, to post unlawful or infringing content, to violate Instagram's terms or Meta's platform policies, or to probe or overload our systems. If your use puts our API access at risk, we can suspend it — everyone else's publishing depends on it.
Cost
Huso is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll say so clearly in advance, and nothing you've already scheduled will be held hostage.
Ending things
You can leave any time: disconnect your accounts or delete your Huso account in Settings — deletion works as described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where reasonable, we'll warn you first.
Liability
Huso is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses — lost sales, followers, or reputation — arising from delays, failures, or unavailability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. If you use Huso for business, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the past 12 months.
The legal frame
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes belong to the Scottish courts — unless you're a consumer whose local law says otherwise, in which case that protection stands. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Questions: hello@huso.app.
